The French astronaut and his three colleagues arrived this Saturday in the International Space Station aboard the SpaceX shuttle, approx.

SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule successfully docked to the International Space Station, taking four astronauts on board, including Frenchman Thomas Pesquet.

The team, which took off from Florida the day before, was eagerly awaited by the crew already on board.

“It's really amazing to be here on the Space Station.

The Space Station has changed a lot since the last time I came, I've never seen so many astronauts on board, I've never seen so many space shuttles on board and I think it's a tribute to the strength of this program, ”enthused Thomas Pesquet shortly after his arrival.

This is the second stay that the French have made on board the ISS.

"We can't wait to start our work aboard the Space Station, we can't wait to see what the adventure has in store for us during these five months," he added.
