Some of the students will return to school on Monday.
A recovery "essential" for the Minister of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer.
But, in view of the health situation, this return to class is subject to several rules.
Recovery
This Monday, the resumption of face-to-face school will only be partial.
Only kindergarten and primary students will return to class.
In college and high school, the distance remains for a week.
A rule that also applies to post-bac training installed in high schools (BTS, preparatory classes, etc.).
From May 3, high school students will be in semi-gauges and will therefore alternate face-to-face and distance learning.
The majority of college students will resume their lessons normally, except for fourth and third year students of the fifteen most affected departments (Nord, Oise, Aisne, Yvelines, Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, Hauts-de -Seine, Val-d'Oise, Val-de-Marne, Essonne, Paris, Sarthe, Loire, Rhône, Bouches-du-Rhône).
For them, the principle of half-gauge with alternating face-to-face and distance learning applies.
While extracurricular activities can resume, extracurricular activities are suspended.
The sanitary protocol
According to the website of the Ministry of National Education, the health protocol of February 1 is maintained.
For this new school year, the limitation of the mixing of students is particularly highlighted.
The organization must make it possible to prevent the different groups (or classes) from crossing each other when arriving, leaving, but also during recess.
Outdoor classes are encouraged.
"It is decided at the scale of the establishment," said Jean-Michel Blanquer this Sunday, in Le Grand Jury LCI / RTL / Le Figaro.
This limitation of mixing also applies in the case of the absence of a teacher.
"The pupils can in no case be distributed in the other classes", specifies the new health protocol.
Clearly, in the event of an unreplaced absence, they must stay at home.
Meals
Particular attention is paid to the canteens.
Here again, the non-mixing of the students takes precedence, and the meals must be taken by class, "while maintaining a distance of at least two meters from those of the other classes", specifies the ministry.
Outdoor spaces and gymnasiums can be used for eating and “take out” meals can be offered.
Conventional dining areas should be used "as a last resort" and only for "students who cannot have lunch at home," says the government website.

Closing of classes
This subject has undergone many changes since the start of the September school year.
This time, from the first case of coronavirus detected in a class, it closes immediately for at least seven days - the closure "lasts 15 days in general", qualified Jean-Michel Blanquer - and the rest of the group is considered as a contact case .
In this case, the distancing immediately takes over.
Screening
Screening by saliva sampling will be “reinforced” as of the start of the school year on April 26. It targets "in priority pupils of nursery and elementary schools". From this Monday, the self-tests are also deployed for staff. "They will be able to use it twice a week, but not necessarily from the first day," acknowledged the Minister of National Education in Le Grand Jury. From May 10, high school students - with the parents' consent - will also be able to use the self-tests.
