One of the actors has now revealed that fans will have to wait a while until the next season.

" is one of the absolute hit series from Netflix.
The mixture of mystery and 80s flair hit the nerve of the audience.
Season 3 started in the summer of 2019 and fans are still waiting for the sequel.
Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler in the series, revealed in a video chat with fans that the fourth season of "Stranger Things" should appear sometime next year.
The new season was announced at the end of 2019 and filming began just a few months later.
However, the coronavirus pandemic led to
considerable delays
.

"Stranger Things" Season 4: Still filming not finished
Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson on the series, recently revealed in an interview with
Collider
that
filming is still very irregular
.

There is very little data
that
is reliable
.
It's mostly more of a guess as to when we'll be filming again, when we'll be done, when the release will be, all because we still don't know if we'll be filming next week.
I should turn off a bigger chunk about next month, but even though it's already in about two weeks, I still don't know the exact date, ”says Matarazzo.
So it doesn't look like filming and post-production can be completed this year.
So if you were hoping for the fourth season to start this year, you will be disappointed.
