Pop legend Elton John celebrated his traditional Oscar party with star guests like Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Cynthia Erivo.
The celebrity meeting usually takes place live in Hollywood after the award ceremony, but due to the corona pandemic, the show was moved to the Internet this time and hosted before the start of the Oscar gala.
The stars mainly called for donations.
Lady Gaga spoke about the great challenge facing many people suffering from mental health problems during the pandemic.
In addition to pop star Elton John and his husband David Furnish, the event was hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris.
For 17 euros, fans could join the one-hour show.
Proceeds from the event - one of the hottest around the Oscars in pre-pandemic times - will benefit Elton John's AIDS Foundation.
