(ANSA) - BARI, APRIL 26 - Heads and affiliates of the clanStrisciuglio di Bari accused of mafia association, drug crimes, weapons, extortion, injuries and brawls, in all 99 people, were arrested in execution of a precautionary custody order (96 in prison and three under house arrest).
The investigation by the Mobile Squad of the Bari Police Headquarters and the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command, called 'VorticeMaestrale', is coordinated by prosecutors Lidia Giorgio and Marco D'Agostino in collaboration with the DNA The investigation has reconstructed the hierarchy and illicit activities of the clan between 2015 and '' current affairs for the control of the territory in the districts of Bari Libertà, San Paolo, San Pio-Enziteto, SantoSpirito and San Girolamo and in the municipalities of Palo del Colle andConversano, documenting extortion of traders, rites of affiliation, conflicts with other criminal groups, threats and punishments unfaithful associates, bad payers or solving sentimental matters.
