Between heritage and modernity and in a constant quest for timelessness, Bourrienne Paris X highlights traditional French know-how in the design of white shirts and high-end accessories, for men and women.

Launched in 2017, Bourrienne Paris X has its headquarters in the eponymous mansion at 58 rue d'Hauteville in the 10th arrondissement. It is from this exceptional location, an architectural jewel in the Directoire style from the end of the 18th century, that the brand seduced the Parisian and international fashion scene by revisiting this essential male and female wardrobe that is the white shirt.

At the origin of this project, the acquisition of the Hôtel de Bourrienne in 2015 by Charles Beigbeder, passionate about heritage. Very quickly, he was captivated by the history of this place which was the refuge of intellectuals of the time such as Talleyrand, Bonaparte, Hugo and many others. Inspired by these figures, he wishes to pay tribute to them by giving back to men's fashion which, according to him, had become not very innovative.

The entrepreneur wants to reconnect with the French stylistic heritage and calls on the talents of Cécile Faucheur, a young designer who cut her teeth at ESMOD Paris and in the haute couture workshops of major Parisian houses.

Just as passionate as he is about promoting French sartorial heritage, she began researching museums, national archives, documentary collections, libraries and scouring second-hand shops and flea markets in search of period clothing.

She then explained to Charles Beigbeder her desire to design a monochrome and refined universe around the white shirt, the symbol of elegance par excellence in Western clothing culture.
