(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APRIL 25 - The United States will ship to India some raw materials necessary for the production of Covishield, the Indian version of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The Biden administration, reports the New York Timnes, has in fact decided to partially remove the ban on the export of these substances necessary to make vaccines.
The decision was made after a phone call from White House National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan to New Delhi's counterpart.
Other supplies will also arrive from the US such as oxygen and protective suits for hospitals.
