Sociometric study for Fondazione Italia insalute. Cirio: 'Stocks running out, we await deliveries' (ANSA)

7.5% of the Italian population is strongly determined not to undergo vaccination against Covid.

On the other hand, 73.3% of Italians are decidedly in favor of the vaccine, and adding those who would like to be able to choose the vaccine to be administered the share rises to a total of 80.9%.

Then there is a 9.9% of perplexities.

This is what emerges from the research carried out by the Italy in health Foundation, carried out by Sociometrica, to detect the propensity of Italians towards anti Covid vaccination.

Among those who refuse the vaccine, a note reads, women slightly prevail over men; they are between 46 and 55 years old and are residents of the North East compared to the rest of the country (12.2%). If we add to these those who have doubts about getting vaccinated, we get that almost one in four people in the age groups 26-35 years and 46-55 years is skeptical. The research also shows that, from the point of view of education, those who do not intend to get vaccinated usually have a low level of education, 12%, while among graduates and graduates they are still around 7%.

"Doubts and rejection prevail in people in good health - comments the president of the Italy in Health Foundation, Federico Gelli -. The results of the survey paint a dark and dark picture: if it is true that the majority of Italians are determined and inclined to vaccination, we have to deal with a considerable number of people who are still skeptical, if not completely against it. Convincing them will therefore be fundamental for the success of the vaccination campaign and the achievement of community immunity ".

Cirio: 'Stocks running out, we await deliveries'

- "Our stocks are running out again. We await the deliveries scheduled for this week, because Piedmont is ready to vaccinate 40,000 people a day. We need ammunition". So on Facebook the governor Alberto Cirio, on the occasion of the visit to Moncalieri of the new center set up by the Municipality with the ASL To5 at the former Foro Boario. "We continue to strengthen our vaccine army," he says of the center, where "family doctors work together with health personnel, with the possibility of up to 900 administrations per day".
