The allegations against the 49-year-old weigh heavily: Because he is said to have offered his partner's daughter to strangers for sexual abuse in motorway parking lots, he is accused of dozens of crimes, including serious child sexual abuse, the production of child pornography and forced prostitution of minors.
Now the defendant has largely admitted the crimes before the Schweinfurt regional court.
This was announced by his defense attorney.
The man is said to have committed the assault when the girl was between nine and eleven years old.
Because the youth protection chamber had excluded the public for the man's testimony, details of the confession were not disclosed.
The defense attorney said, however, that his client did not want to earn any money with the child - contrary to what was stated in the indictment.
The defendant has not yet been convicted of any such offenses.
At the beginning of the trial, Chief Public Prosecutor Gabriel Seuffert described the alleged assaults of the 49-year-old on his partner's child for around an hour.
The man often photographed and filmed the abuse in an apartment in the Bad Kissingen area, but also on bike trips in the area.
Mother apparently tolerated acts several times
The girl's 39-year-old mother is said to have been present in a number of acts between summer 2018 and summer 2020 and tolerated them.
The defendant is said to have made the woman compliant, among other things by threatening to separate.
She has to answer in separate proceedings for aiding and abetting serious sexual abuse of children through omission.
According to the prosecutor, the defendant is said to have offered the child to other men for abuse in order to get aroused and to earn money.
"To do this, he drove the girl to various motorway parking lots," said Chief Public Prosecutor Seuffert.
Five euros and a pack of cigarettes as payment
Many truck drivers rejected the offer, but at least one is said to have accepted it and offended the girl.
The stranger is said to have given the child five euros and a pack of cigarettes for it.
The alleged perpetrator has not yet been found.
Another suspect reportedly looked for quick sex with a slip of paper on a freeway toilet.
According to the prosecution, the 49-year-old defendant who found the slip of paper with the phone number arranged for the minor to meet with the man.
This should have offended the student in at least two cases.
The 50-year-old is on trial for child abuse from the end of May.
The 49-year-old's machinations were ultimately exposed because a truck driver had turned to the police.
