Two cops killed two people in an outbreak on a farm in Lorsch in southern Hesse.
As the police announced, it is allegedly a 56-year-old farmer and his 81-year-old mother who apparently ran the farm together.
They were discovered in the barn after the animals broke out.
According to the police, the outbreak of the animals was reported around 11 a.m., one of the bulls was caught again before the emergency services arrived.
Animal rescue, the fire brigade, the rescue service and a police helicopter were also in action.
However, they failed to get the second bull under control as well.
This had repeatedly broken out of barricades that had been built around him with vehicles.
Because of the danger to humans, the animal was finally shot by a hunter.
