They proceeded unscrupulously - and creatively: A total of four men are said to have robbed a supermarket in Tauberbischofsheim in Baden-Württemberg in 2019.
Now the District Court of Mosbach has found a second defendant guilty of the case.
The 28-year-old was sentenced to four years in prison for aggravated robbery and willful assault.
The men are said to have broken into the supermarket during the attack in December 2019 and tied up a cashier while holding a gun.
The woman is said to have suffered painful skin injuries.
Later, the perpetrators vacuumed a safe with a vacuum cleaner and captured around 57,000 euros.
In January one of the man's accomplices was sentenced to four years and six months in prison.
The public prosecutor's office had already stated in the proceedings against the accomplice that the attack was probably based on a division of labor.
Three defendants are said to have acted at the scene.
The fourth - according to the public prosecutor's office, the then store manager - is said to have planned the act.
For the now convicted 28-year-old, the court also ordered the accused to be placed in a rehab facility.
