The

Egyptian Museum of Turin reopens in the sign of optimism with an exhibition project dedicated to research

, because "nothing will be the same again, not even museums, which will have to reinvent themselves to become a central element of the culture of the territories to which they belong", explains director Christian Greco, welcoming the first visitors this morning with the president of the Egyptian Antiquities Museum Foundation , Evelina Christillin. The new Egyptian exhibition project, 'In the scholar's laboratory', is a cycle of exhibitions set up on the first floor, to put a series of finds from the collection under the magnifying glass and offer visitors an unprecedented insight, bringing them closer to research. Every two months the exhibition will be dedicated to a different find, which will be investigated from an archaeological and historical point of view: the first object of the exhibition is the statue of Hel: from the Ramesside era (19th dynasty,About 1279-1213 BC). "The era of great blockbuster exhibitions is over - says Greco - Foreigners will continue to come, but what we have to do is bring citizens, young and old, to museums. To share with them the great culture and research that museums like us do. they have never stopped doing, since their birth. This is the reason for this cycle of 5 small exhibitions, which cost us only 10,000 euros and wants to make us familiar with research ".This is the reason for this cycle of 5 small exhibitions, which cost us only 10,000 euros and wants to make us familiar with research ".This is the reason for this cycle of 5 small exhibitions, which cost us only 10,000 euros and wants to make us familiar with research ".
