According to a survey, half of the people in Germany spontaneously do not know where their vaccination certificate is.
In a survey published by the digital association Bitkom, only 48 percent were able to say straight away where they kept the yellow booklet.
Around 51 percent of those surveyed didn't know.
This is not a problem at first: A vaccination is possible even without a passport, for example against Corona.
In this case, the vaccinated person receives a confirmation of the vaccination, which can be added to the vaccination certificate.
A quarter of Germans have already lost their vaccination certificate
According to the survey, almost a quarter of Germans have already lost their vaccination certificate.
The association evaluated the results of the survey it commissioned as an argument for introducing a digital vaccination certificate in the fight against Corona.
“After all, people usually have their smartphone at hand, but they usually have to look for their vaccination certificate,” said Bitkom President Achim Berg.
In addition to the question of the corona vaccination certificate, the introduction of a digital vaccination pass as part of the electronic patient file should therefore also be promoted.
