Laura Wontorra will work for the sports streaming service DAZN from the summer.
She is pleased to »be part of the DAZN team from now on«, said the 32-year-old sports journalist in a press release: »Communicating with fans on an equal footing and putting the sport itself in the focus of reporting is my nature as Moderator."
Wontorra has been in action for RTL since 2017, among other things, for Europa League and national team games and for Nitro for Bundesliga broadcasts.
Before that, she worked as a field reporter and presenter for Sky and Sport1.
At DAZN, she will strengthen the on-air team around Alexander Schlüter and Daniel Herzog in the future.
The platform will expand its coverage of the Bundesliga and Champions League in the coming season.
Since May 2020, Wontorra has also been performing the programs "Grill den Henssler" on Vox and "Ninja Warrior" on RTL.
She will also continue to moderate entertainment formats for the RTL broadcasting group.
