The production of the series was approved as early as July 2018 and filming began in New York.
In February 2020, the filming arrived in Tel Aviv, but a few weeks later the corona burst and the filming was stopped - which greatly delayed the work on the series.
About two months ago, photography resumed in Israel, and as part of it, a number of main streets in Tel Aviv were blocked, including 1909 Boulevard, Derech Shlomo, Ahad Ha'am and Nahalat Binyamin.
One of the producers of "Hit and Run" is Mike Barker, whose work "The Story of a Slave" stands out.
The cost of an episode of the new series is estimated at about four million dollars.
