(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 29 - "Today the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber appointed me President of the Committee on Human Rights in the World. It is a decision that I welcome with great pleasure because the affirmation of human rights in every corner of the Earth has always been one of the priority objectives of my public commitment. I thank President Fassino and the colleagues of the Commission. I will also work to ensure that the Committee is a point of reference for all the associations and people who dedicate their activities to the defense of human rights ".
