Currently set at 7 p.m. throughout France, the curfew will pass to 9 p.m. from May 19, announces Emmanuel Macron in his interview with several regional press titles, including Le Parisien.
This measure will begin at 11 p.m. from June 9, before being completely abandoned on June 30.
Be careful, if this calendar seems clear, it could still evolve if ever the health situation linked to the Covid-19 epidemic does not improve sufficiently by then, at least in certain territories.
The incidence rate and the intensive care unit occupancy rate, which remain at very high levels, will in particular be closely scrutinized.
The inhabitants of Île-de-France and eight metropolises were subjected to a curfew at 9 p.m. from October 17.
There was then - without interruption - a month and a half of confinement, a month of curfew at 8 p.m., two and a half months of curfew at 6 p.m., then the schedule changed to 7 p.m. at the end of March, at the time of the change to summer time.
Steps that could however be delayed in the departments where the incidence rate is durably higher than 400 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
