(ANSA) - LECCE, APRIL 29 - The former investigating judge of the Bari Court Giuseppe De Benedictis is currently being subjected to a new interrogation by the prosecutor Alessandro Prontera, in the Lecce prison where he has been detained since last Saturday on charges of corruption judicial, in competition with the Bari criminal lawyer Giancarlo Chiariello, who was also arrested.
The investigation refers to alleged bribes in exchange for imprisonment.
The interrogation takes place in the presence of his lawyers, lawyers Saverio Ingraffia and Gianfranco Schirone. De Benedictis during the interrogation under guarantee had confessed to most of the episodes of corruption contained in the arrest measure, and had offered his willingness to answer any other questions from the Salento magistrates on further claims that could reveal new responsibilities and call upon other professionals.
