Covid: cases at a minimum since October, 3.5 million recovered

VID (ANSA) - ROME, MAY 03 - The coronavirus positives in Italy in the last 24 hours are still decreasing, 5,948, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Since 13 October there were not so few: that day there were 5,898. Yesterday it was 9,148. Instead, they are the 256 victims in one day (yesterday 144).


    However, only 121,829 molecular and antigenic buffers have been made; yesterday the tests were 156,872. The positive rate is 4.9% (yesterday it was 5.8%).


    Intensive care patients hospitalized are 2,490, down 34 units compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits, while daily entries were 121 (yesterday109). In the ordinary wards, on the other hand, 18,395 people are hospitalized, an increase of 50 units compared to yesterday.


    With the 13,038 officially registered in the last 24 hours healed by Covid-19 and discharged in Italy, they exceed 3 million and a half. They are exactly 3,505,717.


    In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,050,708, 121,433 amounts. The currently positive ones are instead 423.558 (-7.348 compared to yesterday). There are 402,673 people in home isolation (-7,364). (HANDLE).
