Covid-19: the Parisian festival We Love Green postponed to September

The Ile-de-France festival We Love Green, which was to be held in early June in the Bois de Vincennes, has been postponed to the weekend of September 10 to 12 due to the "health context", the organizers said on Monday.

"The idea of ​​a seated festival in June is not possible," they write in a statement.

We Love Green, a contemporary music festival concerned with the environment, had gathered 80,000 spectators in 2019. It was canceled in 2020.

The "format and programming will be confirmed according to the evolution of the schedule of reopening and the modalities of the health pass", continue the organizers.

Tickets purchased for June 2020 or June 2021 will be valid for September 2021. Otherwise, there is the possibility of exchanging for the 2022 edition or requesting a refund.

The Vieilles Charrues and the Francofolies are adapting

Other big festivals have purely canceled due to the health crisis, such as Solidays (228,000 people in 2019), the Eurockéennes (128,000 people in 2019), Hellfest (180,000 spectators in 2019), Garorock (162,000 spectators in 2019), Main Square (115,000 people), Art Rock (80,000 people in 2019), Lollapalooza (95,000 people) and Musilac (85,000 people in 2019).

For now, among the major current music festivals, the Vieilles Charrues (270,000 spectators in 2019) and the Francofolies (150,000 in 2019) have promised to take place while adapting.

Printemps de Bourges, scheduled for early May (200,000 people in 2019) has been postponed from 22 to 27 June.
