Many people would probably like to celebrate a really big party again.
A 43-year-old from Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia apparently didn't want to wait any longer and invited more than 40 guests to his place despite the existing Corona regulations.
According to the police, 26 adults and 17 children were in his 70-square-meter apartment.
Allegedly celebrated the festival of faith
When a patrol arrived, some of the guests tried to hide in different rooms.
So nobody wore a mask.
As the police reported on Monday about the incident on Sunday evening, the resident had stated that a religious festival was being celebrated.
The officials could not say which one exactly.
Relatives from abroad also came to the celebration.
According to the police, the man said that he did not know that something like this was forbidden.
All adults received a complaint for violating the country's corona protection ordinance.
