Recipe for chocolate muffins without sugar: You need these ingredients
For 12 muffins you will need:
150 g dates (pitted)
1 ripe banana
3 eggs
50 ml of milk
200 g ground almonds
45 g baking cocoa
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 pinch of salt
For the topping:
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp baking cocoa
2 tbsp maple syrup
chopped nuts or dried berries for decoration

Recipe: This is how you bake healthy chocolate muffins without sugar
Preparation:
Pour boiling water over the dates and let them soak for 20 minutes.
This makes them easier to puree.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.

Line the hollows of a muffin tin with paper liners.
Then pour off the soaking water for the dates, but leave about 50 ml.
For the dough:
puree the dates, soaking water, banana, eggs, milk, ground almonds, cocoa, baking powder and salt in the mixer to a smooth dough.
Pour the batter into the muffin cups and bake the muffins in the oven on the middle rack for about 20 minutes.

Prepare a chocolate glaze
for the topping
: melt the coconut oil and mix it with the cocoa powder and maple syrup.
Let the icing cool down so that it thickens a little.
