US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden still have to get used to their new surroundings after their first 100 days in the White House.
"We're still in the process of getting to know our new home, finding out where the light switches are, and remembering to use coasters on the period furniture," said Jill Biden on Thursday evening (local time) during a performance with her husband in Duluth US state of Georgia.
On the one hand, it is difficult to believe that 100 days have passed since her husband took office as head of state.
On the other hand, the days were so packed that the time quickly passed, said the First Lady.
US President Joe Biden has just summed up the first 100 days in office in his first speech to Congress - and presented an ambitious political agenda.
He promised social benefits and millions of new jobs and promised the country a bright future: "America," he said, "is ready to take off."
