With a few creative steps, however, it is quite possible to create a vegetable patch in a small space.

On a terrace * there are, for example, possibilities to plant the vegetables in pots, flower boxes or a raised bed.

Vegetable patch for the terrace - variant 1: bucket

In the tub you can not only plant pampas grass as a privacy screen *.

But how do you go about it?

In order to be able to supply a nutrient-rich soil right from the start, it is best to use a

To do this, you can add liquid nutrients to the irrigation water to keep the earth always rich in nutrients.

Vegetable bed for the terrace - variant 2: raised bed

A raised bed can also be used as a vegetable patch on the terrace.

The easiest way to do it is of course with a finished raised bed (promotional link).

With a raised bed, however, the soil is filled up more elaborately than with the other two variants.

The first layer is first provided with a wire mesh, this is primarily intended to keep pests away.

This is followed by a layer with a tree and shrub section, then you fill green and garden waste on top.

The fourth layer consists of normal soil on which you put ripe compost.

It ends with the sixth shift.

This consists of nutrient-rich soil.

Similar to the tub, the flower box can also offer a rich harvest in the vegetable patch on the terrace.

Again, preferably use the high-quality soil.

This is nutritious and a good foundation.

When fertilizing the vegetable plants, you can help with liquid nutrients in the irrigation water.

Vegetables that are suitable for the flower box include

radishes, herbs, chilli and garlic
