Severe criticism is heard on the Internet following the broadcast of the interview of News 12 reporter Porat Nassar with Avigdor Hayut, the father of her late friend Moshe Hayut, who was killed in the Meron disaster last weekend.

In an interview aired over the weekend with Dana Weiss, Nassar began an interview with Hayut from the hospital bed where he was hospitalized after being injured in the disaster, an interview that was interrupted in the middle, it was alleged, after Hayut tried to relate positively to Homeland Security Minister Amir Ohana.

The abrupt interruption of such an interview in a sensitive and charged time situation for many in the country, managed to infuriate many viewers and surfers who were quick to express resentment at what they saw as a deliberate move of silence.

The network's anchor, Yevgeny Zrobinsky, could not hide his anger either, and posted a series of tweets and posts on Instagram and Facebook, which received thousands of comments and hundreds of shares.

"Notice what happens when the reporter hears that a bereaved father says a good word about Ohana - just cut from him. I have no way of knowing that but he seems to have been instructed in the headset," he tweeted.

"I'll just add: even if it has nothing to do with what he said about Ohana. Is that how you cut from a bereaved father who speaks? A little sensitivity. It's good that he didn't get slapped," he was furious.

Zrobinsky informed his followers that since he uploaded the video on his social platforms, he has received a wave of reactions, with some warning him that expressing his position will lead to his boycott of performances at the Keshet franchise.

"Since Purat Nassar's video cuts insensitively from a bereaved father who talks about his son and also says a kind word to Ohana, I get hundreds of messages and responses," Zrobinsky wrote.

"Some are positive, and most of them tell me 'you will not show up again', so okay, mani and know it and if I don't show up then I will not show up, I will not shut up when I see consciousness engineering and injustice live," he concluded.

News 12 Reporter Response:

"Naturally live broadcasting is a complex decision-making process. During the live broadcast and during the interview it was decided to return the broadcast to the studio. There was indeed room to let the bereaved father complete his remarks. However, I will stress for the avoidance of doubt: any An allegation of a foreign motive other than the management of the continuous transmitter is completely unfounded and unfounded. "

Zrobinsky's response could not be obtained until the time of publication.
