The arrest at the
Ezeiza
international airport of
the young Santiago Solans Portillo, accused of taking an international flight
concealing that he was Covid positive
and also resisting the immigration and police procedures he faced, put the health system on alert.
He will be submitted to an investigatory statement this Wednesday by the federal judge of Lomas de Zamora, Federico Villena.
It happens that between Migrations, Airport Police and Health they had to go out in search of the
closest contacts
that could have been with Solans Portillo during the American Airlines flight 931, which covered the Miami-Buenos Aires route between the night of Saturday, May 1 and on Sunday 2.
At least 14 passengers were in the sights of Salud.
Those 14 passengers are the only ones located so far by the
Ministry of Health of the City of Buenos Aires
, after Salud de la Nación alerted who they could be, due to the data that Transportation in turn sent with the
information from the Airline and Migrations
Since the portfolio of the Minister Fernan Quiros said to
Clarin
that among the 14 passengers isolated from possible contact with Solans Portillo, most were
Argentines who said they had been vaccinated gone to Miami.
In addition, they reported
not having symptoms of COVID, which will decay the same with the course of the days.
Everyone must serve at least seven days of mandatory isolation at home.
If they have no symptoms after that time, they should undergo a swab.

It is still unknown if there are other passengers who could have come into contact with the young man, since
the investigation is open.
And this Wednesday it will be expanded by Villena.
Solans Portillo is in quarantine for positive Covid
in a hotel on Calle Libertad at 1000
, Recoleta.
But he is also detained and may face charges under article 202 of the Penal Code, which stipulates
between 3 to 15 years in prison
for anyone who spreads a contagious disease.
"I am not going to give statements without my lawyer. Everything you put in the note is a lie," Santiago told
Clarín
on Monday
, without wanting to explain what would be a lie and what truth, until his defender says so.
During the brief exchange, the 29-year-old man said that he felt "very bad", that he
still had a fever
, but that he had medical assistance at the health hotel where he was staying.
It is one of the establishments that the government of the City of Buenos Aires arranged for patients who come from abroad and
must quarantine because they do not have their own place to isolate themselves.

Santiago traveled on Saturday night on the AA flight at 8:45 p.m. with a positive PCR result, which
he would not have reported in his affidavit.
It happens that he appeared with a certificate from a clinic that said that he had no symptoms compatible with the disease. However,
Ezeiza's thermal cameras detected that he had more than 38 fever
, and when he was separated from the line, the documentation he had presented had irregularities.
On Sunday he was tested for antigens and PCR, which came back positive.
And that was how his arrest was ordered.
"For an irresponsible and selfish person,
today 200 people who traveled doing the right thing are at risk
. This person is detained and has a complicated judicial situation that will be drastically aggravated if any of the passengers develop symptoms in the next few days. They could fit up to 15 years of prison, "said the director of the National Migration Office, Florencia Carignano
