India today exceeded 20 million cases of Covid-19 infection since the start of the pandemic, according to official data from the Indian Ministry of Health. In the last 24 hours, the Asian country has identified 357. (ANSA)

(ANSA) - DELHI, 04 MAY - India today exceeded 20 million cases of infection from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to official data from the Indian Ministry of Health.

In the last 24 hours, the Asian country has identified 357,229 new infections, bringing the total to 20.3 million.

Lemorti were 3,449, for a total of 222,408.

However, many experts believe that the actual numbers are much higher.

Coronavirus cases healed in India have been 16.3 million so far.
