Fiction queen of the schedules, dominates Rai1

Among absolute novelties and consolidated brands, fiction is confirmed as a cornerstone of the schedules, as well as a strong point of the audiovisual industry in Italy. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 04 - Among absolute novelties and consolidated brands, fiction is confirmed as a cornerstone of the schedules, as well as a strong point of the audiovisual industry in Italy. In the last season (1 October-25 April) it occupied 30% of the overall offer of the generalists in prime time, with important ratings in particular on Rai1. This is the picture that emerges from the new number of the Observatory of the Phrases Studio. On the average day it is mainly Italia 1 and Rete4 that fill fiction schedules, with programs mostly produced abroad. The greater number of hours goes to the US series CSIper Italia1 and the German soap Storm of love for Rete4; for Channel 5 in the lead is the Spanish telenovela Una vita, for Rai2NCIS,for Rai1 The paradise of the ladies and for Rai3 the Italian soap Un posto al sole. The highest audience average for fiction throughout the day is the prerogative of Rai1, with 3.4 million viewers.


    In prime time (programs starting between 21 and 21.59), fiction represents 30% of the overall offer of the generalist networks and produces an average audience of 2 million. The genre covers more than half of the offer of Rai2 (55.9%) and Rai1 (52.4%), in third place Italy1 (40.6%). Auditel data crown Rai1, which with prime time fiction achieves an average audience of 4.9 million for a share of 19.9%; Canale 5 is at 2.6 million or 10.7%; followed by Italia1 with 1.4 million, Rai2 with 1.2 million and Rai3 with 1.1 million spectators.


    Rai1's fiction also leads the ranking of social interactions (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).


   According to the Talkwalker rumors attributable to fiction ("Series, Comedy, Drama and Doc & Special interests") the top is Che Dio ciaiuti with 3.6 million total interactions, produced for 64.6% on Instagram. Follows Doc in your hands, with 2.6 million interactions, 61% on Instagram. The series with LucaArgentero, inspired by a true story, also collected the highest number of likes on Facebook, 617 thousand. In third place an Italy-US production, We Are Who We Are, a miniseries directed by Luca Guadagnino, produced and distributed by Hbo and broadcast on SkyAtlantic, with 2.3 million interactions.
