(ANSA) - MEXICO CITY, MAY 04 - Fifteen people died and about 70 were injured in the collapse of a bridge in Mexico City as a subway train was crossing it. This was reported by the mayor of the metropolis, ClaudiaSheinbaum, speaking with journalists at the scene of the accident. Rescuers who are working on the site of the collapse of the metro bridge in Mexico City have had to stop "because of the risk of other collapses," he said again announcing investigations to understand the causes of the collapse. The incident occurred around 10.30 pm local time, on line 12. The videos broadcast on websites and social media showed train cars suspended in midair while ambulance sirens sounded nearby.A video published by Milenio TV shows the moment of the collapse with the bridge collapsing on the car they were passing under.
