Tip: This is how to keep the flowers fresh for a long time
There are a few tips to keep in mind so that the bouquet stays fresh long after Mother's Day.
First of all, the
stems
should be
cut
at
an angle
.
Don't forget to rinse the vase thoroughly beforehand.
Some people like to filter the calcareous water beforehand, as many plants cannot tolerate the high proportion of calcium.
After two days, the water should be changed anyway
.
Ideally, it is also warm, as the flowers do not like the cold water.
And here's a special tip: add a
dash of lemon juice
to the water.
This allows you to keep the cut flowers fresh longer.
