2020 was a tough year for Pink. The US singer and her son both became seriously ill with Covid-19. There was a point where she thought it was over.

Serious illness is a turning point for many people.

The US artist Pink and her son are obviously fine after their corona infection.

But even if the "Stupid Girls" singer can post happy pictures of herself and her family on Instagram again, the Covid 19 disease was a deep turning point for her.

During her illness last year, she rewritten her will, the 41-year-old told the American broadcaster Extra in an interview.

"It was very, very scary and very bad." The experience still weighs heavily on her today: "As a parent you suddenly think about what I am leaving my children, will they find their way in this crazy world?"

"I've never prayed again in my life"

She and her now four-year-old son Jameson Moon were both seriously ill in March 2020, while their nine-year-old daughter Willow Sage and husband Carey Hart were apparently spared.

"At one point when I thought it was over for us, I called my best friend and said, 'You have to tell Willow how much I loved her.'"

About a year ago, Pink had spoken about other bad experiences in the course of the disease.

"There were many nights I cried," the mother of two told the celebrity magazine "People" just weeks after the infection.

"And I've never prayed again in my life."

It all turned out well for Pink.

She and her 45-year-old husband celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary in January.
