Aldi recall: Dangerous substance detected in baby crawling shoes
The recall concerns the shoes that have been sold in the entire Aldi Süd area since January 18, 2021.
At Aldi Nord, the article was traded in a campaign on February 11, 2021.
As part of investigations, an increased level of chromium (VI) in the outsole and the leather patch was proven, as the manufacturer Grohmann Schuhimport GmbH Aldi announced.
There is no direct skin contact, but chromium (VI) can trigger allergies in the event of unintentional contact.
Any contact with the substance should therefore be avoided.
