(ANSA) - MADRID, 04 MAY - Applause from sympathizers but also boos and insults this morning near Madrid for the Spanish première Pedro Sánchez, who went to vote for the administrative elections in the region of the Iberian capital: local media report them.
The premier voted in a polling station in Pozuelo Alarcón, the town with the highest per capita income in Spain and a feudal-historical right-wing.
Sánchez was cheered and booed both upon arriving in the car and after voting, during statements to journalists in which he asked citizens to "take part" in the elections.
"We need as much democratic support as possible," he said, admitting that there was "a lot of noise" as he spoke.
While his supporters cheered on him, his detractors shouted "out" and "traitor". (HANDLE).
