These are the actions to be taken - according to ANSA's knowledge - indicated in the draft document of the meeting of the G20 Tourism Ministers

, under the Italian Presidency and in the presence of Minister Massimo Garavaglia, which are expressed

in guidelines in 7 key areas

: safe mobility, crisis management, resilience, inclusivity, green transformation, digital transition and investment and infrastructure.

Tourism continues to be one of the sectors hardest hit by the pandemic

, with international tourist arrivals down 73% globally in 2020 and unprecedented impacts on vulnerable groups and small and medium-sized enterprises, and with nearly 62 million jobs lost globally, representing an 18.5% decline, with a prospect that remains highly uncertain.

The resumption of travel and tourism is crucial for the global economic recovery, the draft of the document continues.

The Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, at 4.15 pm will introduce the press conference that will take place following the G20 Tourism ministerial meeting, with Minister Massimo Garavaglia.
