In full development of the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic, the Government confirmed this Tuesday

26,238 new cases

of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

It arises from the daily part published by the Ministry of Health, based on the data reported by the provinces in the last 24 hours.

In addition, it reported another

412 deaths

from coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths from that cause to 65,202.

With the 26,238 infections registered this Tuesday, those infected in Argentina

since the beginning of the pandemic reach 3,047,417

.

Active patients are 264,757, while 2,717,458 have already recovered from the disease.

In the last hours, 105,546 Covid tests were carried out, with a positivity rate of 24.9 percent.

The occupancy of intensive care beds for

adults

continues to

rise

: 76.5 percent in the AMBA and 68.6 percent nationwide.

On Monday it had been 75.1 percent and 68 percent, respectively.

The number of

seriously ill patients

, meanwhile, experienced a slight drop compared to Monday: 5,389, against the 5,426 reported 24 hours earlier.
