Covid: India, new record of deaths, 3,780 in 24 hours

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 05 - India has recorded yet another negative record in the coronavirus emergency: 3,780 people have in fact died in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Ministry of Health cited by the Guardian.

There are 382,000 new cases of Covid-19.

    Despite pressure from the opposition, Prime Minister NarendraModi continues to refuse to impose a national lockdown due to fear of the repercussions on the economy.
