Meanwhile, yet another negative record in the coronavirus emergency has been recorded on the continent: 3,780 people have in fact died in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Ministry of Health. There are 382,000 new cases of Covid-19. Despite pressure from the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to refuse to impose a tough national lockdown for fear of the repercussions on the economy. (HANDLE).
