India has recorded yet another negative record in the coronavirus emergency: 3,780 people have in fact died in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Ministry of Health cited by the Guardian.

There are 382,000 new cases of Covid-19.

Despite pressure from the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to refuse to impose a tough national lockdown for fear of the repercussions on the economy.

The Central Bank of India has released $ 6.7 billion for coronavirus vaccine manufacturers and for hospitals and healthcare businesses. This was announced by the governor of the Shaktikanta Das Institute explaining that the funds will be provided in the form of low-cost loans until March 31, 2022 to face the second devastating wave of Covid-19 in India.
