(ANSA) - TURIN, MAY 05 - Stellantis closed the quarter - the first after the merger between FCA and PSA - with "net solid revenue growing in all regions". Revenues are € 34.3 billion or € 37 billion on a pro forma basis, up 14%. Consolidated sales are 1,477,000 vehicles or 1,567,000 on a pro forma basis, up 11%. "For our first quarter since the merger, Stellanits achieves solid revenue thanks to a diversified brand portfolio that generates both increasing volumes and a positive effect and favorable impact of product mixes, despite the negative effects of the global semiconductor crisis"; explains Stellantis, Richard Palmer.
In the absence of significant lockdowns due to Covid, the group confirms the financial targets for 2021 and expects the car market to grow 8% in North America, 20% in South America and 10% in Enlarged Europe (estimates unchanged compared to the previous forecast).
The timetable for the models does not change: the production launches of the new Grand Wagoneer / Wagoneer and the new generation of the Jeep Grand Cherokee will be respectively at the end of the second quarter of 2021 and in the third quarter of 2021.
