Donald Trump launches his social platform after being banned from Twitter and Facebook.
From now on supporters will be able to communicate with the former president and be informed in real time about his positions and activities through the site called 'From the Desk of Donald J. Trump', where videos and press releases will also be uploaded.
Supporters, once an account has been created, will be able to receive notifications every time Trump posts a message, in a similar way to what happens with other social media.
There is also a button with which to share Trump's messages on Facebook and Twitter.
Trump was ousted from Facebook and Twitter, which canceled his account after the bloody events of January 6, when supporters of the former president stormed the US Congress building.
An action that, for many, was instigated by Trump who had held a fiery rally shortly before.
For this the former president was subjected to a second impeachment from which, however, he was once again acquitted.
A decision by Facebook's leaders is then expected in the next few hours: they will have to decide whether to readmit Trump on their platform or extend the ban.
Twitter has instead indicated so far as its ban on the former president is permanent.
