A court in Bristol, England, has found the 28-year-old Gareeca G. guilty of murdering her roommate of the same age.

For the act she was sentenced to life imprisonment, but at least 23.5 years in prison.

The perpetrator killed Phoenix N. in April 2020 after she refused to enter into a sexual relationship with her.

She injured her victim critically with several stitches, let her die and then divided the body, according to the judge.

G. then tried to burn the body.

In short messages to the family, she pretended for weeks that the victim was still alive.

G. was finally arrested because, contrary to the current Corona curfew, she was traveling outside of her place of residence.

Police checked the woman and found body parts in two suitcases.
