(ANSA) - TURIN, 05 MAY - As part of the 'Platinum-Dia' operation against the 'Ndrangheta, 33 security measures in prison issued by the Courts of Turin and Costanza (Germany) against as many subjects. The accusations, misleading, range from mafia association to association aimed at international drug trafficking.


   Crimes of money laundering, fictitious registration of assets, extortion and other crimes, aggravated by mafia methods, were also contested.

"A complex operation that began in 2016, which accentuates the activity of some entrepreneurs who managed business for the Volpiano club with companies and entrepreneurial activities", underlines the Turin prosecutor, Anna Maria Loreto.

In addition to the people arrested, a further 65 suspects were searched.

Seized assets consisting of company bonuses, real estate, motor vehicles, bank and postal current accounts, for a value of several million euros.

The searches, still in progress, have made it possible to find and seize four guns, two hectograms of cocaine, over 50 million euros of cash and various precious goods.
