Back to class for a training program supported by Banca Sella for its corporate clients, with the aim of encouraging their growth and innovation processes.

The project is called 'Sella Agile ScaleUp' and is part of the bank's new integrated offer 'Wealth & Business Advisor'.

The first class, with 12 entrepreneurs, will start in June, after two free sessions in May to present the project.

A year of masterclasses will follow by Ed Capaldi, Sella's consultant and coach of the training program, at the end of which the bank will reward the company that has grown to the greatest extent.

“We aim to train dozens of entrepreneurs, supporting part of the costs - explains Giacomo Sella, head of the Group's Corporate & Investment Banking - We invest in our customers for their growth and to be successful with them”.

Banca Sella is also an apprentice in this method and has been experimenting with it for a year with convincing results.

“We are among the few banking groups that have been able to announce growth also in terms of personnel”, says Sella.

The program is based on innovative methods aimed at growth, which help the management to realize a common vision, of exponential development, accompanied by a series of execution tools that break the hierarchies, working towards objectives to be achieved quickly.

The ScaleUp program was presented a few days ago in three roadshows aimed at companies, with various success stories. Among these is Enerbrain, born as a startup in Turin in 2015 that deals with solutions to improve energy efficiency. Today it can include collaborations with Iren, Edison; its customers include airports, theaters, congress halls and public institutions. “In our case, what made the difference was learning to think big - said the CEO Giuseppe Giordano - so we arrived at the idea of energy efficiency at the city level and no longer as a single building”.

The project is part of Banca Sella's new integrated offer 'Wealth & Business Advisor', aimed at both personal and business assets.

The group has been working on this strategy since 2018, is training 40 specialists and will open 13 offices in the area, which will combine the traditional banking offer with investment banking.

“Between private equity, leverage finance, mini bonds and venture capital we will be able to offer a complete package of services and products - concludes Giacomo Sella - on this chapter the bank has invested over 100 million, focusing first of all on corporate credit”.
