Burger King took the liberty of taking a photo of the cancellation of the Oktoberfest in 2021. Customers find the joke anything but funny.

Prime Minister Söder and Munich's Lord Mayor Reiter announced the cancellation of the Oktoberfest 2021 due to the corona pandemic on May 3rd.
Burger King took the liberty of joking at the expense of this decision.
The fast food chain posted a picture on Facebook with an ambiguous joke.
Burger King asked the question "What does a hamburger say about the cancellation of the Oktoberfest in Munich?" Below that a Burger King hamburger answers "Schietegaal".
But the Oktoberfest fun pissed off some customers.
"The joke is as flat as your burger ..." Another user wrote: "That should then be the final death knell for some showmen, I don't know whether I can still find your joke funny."

Another user seems to have completely given up hope for the Oktoberfest: "We'll never see each other again at the Oktoberfest if things continue like this ..." An apparent northern lights also spoke up in the comments: "But Hamburg's Michel and the Kiel days are also canceled.
And our beloved Gallimarkt in Leer. "
Despite the canceled Oktoberfest, one of the customers suggested a motto burger to match the Oktoberfest.
"Burger King could still bring out an Oktoberfest burger, maybe with a pretzel bun, special beer sauce (non-alcoholic) and a thick patty in the form of a meatball or a meatball ..."
Instead of fun, there is criticism of Burger King
But most of the comments don't deal with the Oktoberfest and Burger King's ambiguous joke.
Many customers took their chance to complain about the quality of the fast food chain's burgers.

The hashtags meant to be fun, such as “NOzapftis” and the fun photo, don't seem to have made most of the customers laugh.
At least one user took the whole thing with humor: "Nozapftis I party hard." At Burger King, there are major changes due to the corona pandemic.
