"This is good news, it is proof that we are moving forward, we are not

giving up," Jérôme Tréhorel, director of Vieilles Charrues, an event that takes place in Carhaix, Brittany, told AFP.

The festival, which attracted 270,000 spectators in 2019, had canceled its 2020 edition due to the health crisis.

This is one of the few major festivals for contemporary music to be held this summer, but in a setting upset by health constraints.

The organizers worked on a new device, seated, with a limit of 5,000 people, hosted during 10 evenings of concerts, from July 8 to 18, instead of the usual four days.

Regarding Celine Dion, tickets purchased for the concert scheduled for 2020 and then 2021 remain valid in 2023. There is also the possibility of reimbursement until May 30, 2021.

The Vieilles Charrues festival sold in October 2019 the 55,000 tickets for Celine Dion's concert scheduled for the following July 16 in less than nine minutes.

“Never seen before”

, according to the organizers. The Breton festival had put on sale on its website at 10 am the tickets for its first day. Sale price: 59 euros.

“Full Thursday”

could be read less than an hour after the start of the sale. There is no doubt that this enthusiasm will withstand even three years of waiting.
