What makes it different from Marvel, DC and also from Amazon's hit production "The Boys"?
The main focus of the action is on the hero's children.
In addition to bombastic action scenes, viewers also have to be prepared for dramatic family stories.
"Jupiter's Legacy" is based on the comic of the same name by the cartoonists Mark Millar ("Kingsman", "Kick-Ass") and Frank Quitely.
The first season comprises a total of eight episodes.

"Jupiter's Legacy": The plot of the Netflix series
In the 1930s, six people managed to tackle a dangerous journey and acquire magical powers.
They then protected the earth as superheroes for 90 years.
Now they would like to pass this job on to their children, who also have special powers.
But the new generation fears that it will not be able to meet the requirements.
Serious conflicts eventually arise among families.

"Jupiter's Legacy": Will there be a second season on Netflix?

no news about a 2nd season of "Jupiter's Legacy"
. But that's not surprising, because Netflix usually takes a few weeks after the release of a season to decide for or against a sequel. There may still be a few things to clarify behind the scenes, because the original showrunner Steven S. DeKnight ("Pacific Rim: Uprising") dropped out early in 2019, reported

. Without further ado, producer Sang Kyu Kim ("The Walking Dead") took over the helm. It remains to be seen whether he will also be hired for a possible second season.
