The medical flight organized to bring back to Italy the couple from Campi Bisenzio (Florence) blocked for over a week in New Delhi together with the child adopted in India because the woman, Simonetta, will land tomorrow, Saturday 8 May, at Pisa airport at 20.45. To explain it is the lawyer Elena Rondelli who assists the family from Prato and who received the flight plan and the last necessary authorization from the Italian Ministry of Health last night to allow the lady to enter Italy, although she is still positive. The flight, as explained, will depart today from Nuremberg with destination New Delhi, will make a mandatory 12-hour break for the pilots and then will leave with the family on board for Pisa. Simonetta will then be transferred to the Florentine hospital of Careggi.
"Last night I got all the ok - says the lawyer - there was great collaboration: the consul who was always present also sending me the estimates of the airlines, the Tuscany Region who immediately organized the welcome in Careggi and the Ministry of Health that authorized the repatriation ". On board the flight there will be a doctor and a paramedic, who are already in contact with the health staff of the New Delhi hospital to get updates on the health of the lady. "Simonetta has bilateral bronchopneumonia, but does not have oxygen - explains the lawyer - it was important to take her home before any worsening. They explained to me that if there were problems during the flight, the plane can go down to a question of oxygenation ".
