(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 06 - With reference to the accident that today involved the Italian fishing boat "Aliseo" off the coast of Libya, sources from the Farnesina confirm that the commander suffered only minor injuries that do not cause concern.
Investigations are underway on the dynamics of what happened.
"The current incident - add the sources - nevertheless confirms the danger of the area overlooking the coast of Libya where it is not possible to fish". The area was defined as "high risk" for all boats as early as May 2019 by the Interministerial Committee for Transport Safety. (HANDLE).
