The 5 Star MoVement in the Chamber of Deputies presented a motion for the revocation of the appointment against the League's undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Claudio Durigon
, who, "as emerges from a Fanpage news report, maintains - says M5s - behaviors and uses inappropriate words about the investigation of the judiciary concerning the party to which he belongs ". The signatories ask the Government to "immediately initiate the procedures for revoking Durigon's appointment as Undersecretary of State on the proposal of the President of the Council of Ministers, after consulting the Council of Ministers."
"Referring to the investigation into the alleged hidden funds of the League - remembers M5s - and the 49 million electoral reimbursements resulting from scams, speaking with an acquaintance, Durigon states: 'What investigates the Guardia di Finanza [...] the general [ ...] we put it '". In the document filed, the M5s parliamentarians refer to the inappropriateness that Durigon retains the post of the Mef (department to which the Guardia di Finanza belongs) and the numerous proxies, arguing that "the utterances of Undersecretary Durigon regarding a vaunted 'control' of investigations and trials carried out by the Guardia di Finanza with respect to his party cast a dark and heavy shadow on the impartiality and incorruptibility of this State Body ".
