Since 2018, “Pose” is a series that dazzles as much by its subject as its costumes or the performance of its performers. This plunge into the trans and gay community of New York at the end of the 1980s, hit hard by the AIDS epidemic, is a fresco as flamboyant as it is moving. Season 3, which has just started and closes the series, begins in 1994. Blanca, a trans and HIV-positive woman, thrives as a caregiver for men and women with AIDS. His gay best friend, Pray Tell, also HIV positive, can no longer continue the funerals of his comrades who succumbed to the disease. He drowns his grief in alcohol, much to the chagrin of his friends and boyfriend, Ricky. In a permanent fight within a society that does not want to welcome them with open arms,the characters in "Pose" show resilience, but above all a solidarity which, even when put to the test, never ceases to resurface. This strength is also that of the series which always manages to touch by developing its teeming gallery of heroes.

At the start of the third and final season of "Shrill", the heroine Annie finally broke free from her toxic relationship with her boyfriend Ryan. Single, the young woman of 29, obese and journalist, launches again in the bath of seduction in search of a new relationship. On the professional side, she also tries to renew herself, no longer wanting to write systematically on subjects related to her weight. This bittersweet comedy that happily took hold of the theme of grossophobia still manages to touch without giving lessons thanks to its heroine perfectly interpreted by Aidy Bryant, also co-creator of the series. Annie is thus endearing while being complex and full of flaws. In the eight new episodes, she often annoys, but all of her mistakes end up making her grow taller, even if the road is long.Special mention also to the British actress Lolly Adefope who plays Fran, Annie's best gay friend and roommate.
